Looking for the best scans possible? Heidelberg Chromagraph drum scanners manufactured in the late 80’s and early 90’s were (and still are) the undisputed champions in image quality. The finest German engineering, the 3000 series machines weigh in at 1500 pounds. The 3400 utilizes three drum sizes for mounting reflective and transparent films.
